WAUPACA, Wis. — A woman who assisted in the murder of her own son reaches a plea deal with prosecutors.
Tiffany Powell is convicted on a reduced count of Reckless Endangerment in Waupaca County Court.
Powell held a gun on her son, Rylee Manete, before William Zelenski shot him to death in October of 2020. Zelenski and Powell had confronted Manete about the theft of some exotic animals.
Powell faces up to 12 years in prison when sentenced on Feb. 6. Zelenski is still awaiting trial.
