TOWN OF VILAS, Wis. — One person is dead following a crash in Langlade County.
Sheriff’s officials say a 60-year-old Deerbrook man failed to stop at the intersection of County Highway H and Lloyd Creek Road in the Town of Vilas and struck a vehicle around 9 p.m. Thursday.
The man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. His passenger, a 59-year-old Deerbrook man, was also taken to the hospital and later died.
Those riding in the other vehicle were not transported for injuries.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
