Wisconsin is one of the states that is taking a careful look at how district lines are drawn. General consensus seems to be that most residents in this state feel like the make up of the Legislature does not reflect the voting trends or desires of the constituents. With the Supreme Court election right around the corner, redistricting is on a number of peoples minds.
I talked with Carlene Bechen with the Wisconsin Fair Maps Coalition about the history of gerrymandering, and what people in the state can do to help change the map layout to more accurately reflect the preferences of the population.
