OSHKOSH, Wis. — An investigation is underway into an officer-involved shooting in downtown Oshkosh.
Police were called to the 500 block of N. Main Street around 1:30 a.m. Friday on the report of a person making threats.
Officers arrived to find the suspect in a vehicle. The suspect drove toward officers, prompting one of them to fire at and hit the suspect.
Officers performed life-saving measures before the suspect was taken to the hospital. No officers were hurt.
The DOJ’s Division of Criminal Investigation is leading the investigation.
