APPLETON, Wis–A hometown legend will return to Appleton this summer for the annual Flag Day Parade. Organizers say Rocky Bleier will escort the flag at the start of the parade route.
Bleier is an Appleton native who was awarded the Purple Heart while serving in Vietnam and won four Super Bowls with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1970’s. The Appleton Flag Day Parade is set for June 10th.
