MENASHA, Wis–There is an actual date for the re-opening of the Racine Street Bridge in Menasha. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 5:30 on Wednesday, April 19th. Attendees will have a chance to walk across the new bridge. It will then open to vehicular traffic at 6:30 that night.
The original Racine Street Bridge closed in the summer of 2020 and was demolished. A new bridge was built next to it–and was to open last fall–but that has been delayed a number of times due to weather and supply chain issues.
