FOND DU LAC, Wis–Prosecutors file 12 criminal charges against a man accused of smashing his car into a Fond du Lac Verizon Wireless store. Benjamin Ayer is facing counts of Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle Causing Great Bodily Harm, Reckless Endangerment, Possession of Marijuana, and OWI Causing Injury.
According to the criminal complaint, Ayer was high on marijuana and had been huffing just moments before last Thursday’s crash along Rolling Meadows Drive. Five people inside the store were hurt, one seriously. Ayer will return to court for a preliminary hearing on May 12th.
