FOND DU LAC, Wis–A gas station clerk is charged in connection with the drunk driving death of two teenagers in Fond du Lac County. Sanju Paudel is facing two counts of Procuring Alcohol for Minors Resulting in Death.
According to the criminal complaint, Paudel did not check the I-D’s of two teens that bought beer and liquor at a convenience store back in January. Those boys, Tommy Koenigs and Nevins Zoch, were killed when their car smashed into a tree in the town of Taycheedah.
Paudel reportedly left the country after the incident, and was charged this week. She had to surrender her passport as a condition of her bond. Paudel faces up to 20-years in prison if convicted.
