APPLETON, Wis–The redevelopment of City Center in downtown Appleton will include additional housing for Lawrence University students. In a release from developers Dark Horse Development, Lawrence plans to lease space for 190-beds for upper-level students in what will be called Fox Commons.
Another major tenant will be Prevea Health, which will provide physical therapy, counseling, and psychiatric consultations in a new clinic. Mosaic Family Health, which has already has a clinic in downtown Appleton will also move into Fox Commons.
The Appleton Common Council votes on a development agreement, which includes four-point-four million dollars in tax incremental financing for the project, Wednesday night.
