GREEN BAY, Wis–Three members of the Grand Chute Town Board deny the accusations of wrongful termination filed against them by former Town Administrator James March. In a Green Bay Federal Court filing this week, Town Chairman Jason Van Eperen and supervisors Ron Wolff and Jeffrey Ings claim March’s firing this spring was not in retaliation for his talking with state investigators looking into alleged illegal conduct by Town Board members.

One of their arguments was that other town employees spoke with the Division of Criminal Investigation, but were not terminated.
In a criminal complaint filed against Wolff this week in Outagamie County Court, it was revealed that March informed the DCI about Wolff’s claim that he had sold a business that was awarded a town contract, and that Wolff claimed that he would continue to bid on contracts with other companies he owns.
