GREEN BAY, Wis–The trial of a 16-year old Green Bay girl accused of providing drugs to an overdose victim will remain in adult court. A Brown County judge rejects a motion from the defense for Maylia Sotelo to move her case back into juvenile court.
Sotelo is charged with Being Party to First Degree Reckless Homicide. Sotelo allegedly sold Percocet laced with fentanyl to an 18-year old Green Bay man before his death last December.
Narcotics investigators have described Sotelo as the “largest dealer of fentanyl in Brown County schools”. She had been under investigation before the death, and had allegedly sold drugs to undercover agents several times.
