Winneconne Village Hall and school in lockdown

WINNECONNE, WI — A possible road rage incident in Winneconne has the Village Hall and local schools in lockdown. Few other details are being released by village officials other than the community is dealing with an “ongoing situation that is serious in nature.” In a Facebook post the village says the Winneconne Police Department, Winnebago County Sheriff’s deputes and Wisconsin State Troopers are responding to the situation. Schools will stay on lockdown until safety precautions are met.
