GREEN BAY, Wis–The Brown County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in identifying a woman involved in a check cashing scheme. The woman cashed fake checks at Wells Fargo Bank, Prospera Credit Union, and Community First Credit Union locations in Brown and Outagamie counties on October 26th.
Investigators believe she may be part of the “Felony Lane Gang”, which is using stolen customer information to defraud financial institutions in multiple states across the country.
