OSHKOSH, Wis–One person is dead following a house fire in Oshkosh. Crews were called to the home in the 1800 block of Ashland Street around 4:50 this (Thursday) morning to find heavy black smoke coming from the building.
One person was found dead inside. Everyone else inside the house was able to escape. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
