GRAND CHUTE, WI — Grand Chute Firefighters put out a ceiling fire at local restaurant this morning. Fire crews were dispatched to the I-HOP on West Wisconsin Avenue after employees report seeing smoke inside the restaurant and from an exterior vent. Grand Chute Firefighters found a fire above the dining room ceiling tiles and extinguished the fire a short time later. No restaurant employees, customers or fire crews were injured. The fire is under investigation. City of Appleton, Village of Fox Crossing Fire, and Town of Greenville Fire Department units also responded in accordance with GCFD’s automatic aid agreements in place.
