OSHKOSH, Wis–The Oshkosh Arena is for sale. An on-line listing for the facility went up last month.
Owner Fox Valley Pro Basketball does not list a price for the arena, which opened in 2017. FVPB declared bankruptcy in 2021, and was allowed to write of most of its debts.
The listing promotes the arena’s lease with the Wisconsin Herd, which runs through 2026, with a two-year option after that. It also notes that there is a managment contract with the Oak View Group for the next ten years, and claims that promotional and sponsorship contracts are in place that would generate up to $8-million in revenue.
There is no listed price. Fox Valley Pro Basketball has already sold the tax incremental financing payments from the city to a private entity.
