Mother Nature….that’ll just about do it!
This week’s snow event ticked me off! I was so thinking that we were done with the white stuff for the season—I even mentioned it last week that the extended forecast looked so good that maybe we had witnessed our last shoveling for 8 months. No such luck, Chuck!
With a silver lining pending, we need the moisture and now the fire danger has been greatly reduced. So what! The super-warm air of late February into early March made us anticipate an early spring, loads of bonus golf and pickleball, and spring lawn care way ahead of schedule! Nope!
Honestly, I was just hoping we’d be able to tee it up well ahead of The Masters next week, and yes, we did get some February record warmth to allow us a brief moment in the sun, but now Ma Nature has reminded us of who is in charge. The power outages were an added insult to injury.
No more! So let it be written…..
