UPDATE: A 13-year-old girl is hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday night at the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and Badger Avenue in Appleton. Police say the girl was attempting to cross against the traffic signal around 8 p.m. when she was struck by a vehicle traveling east on Wisconsin. Police say the driver in this case is cooperating with their investigation, which is continuing. Neither the driver or the victim are being identified at this time.
APPLETON, Wis. — Appleton police respond to a crash involving a pedestrian.
The incident reportedly happened at the intersection of Badger and Wisconsin avenues shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The identities and conditions of those involved have not been released.
The intersection was closed for more than four hours while police investigated.
