GREEN BAY, Wis. — A former Green Bay Correctional Institution inmate who killed another prisoner will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Joshua Scolman is sentenced in Brown County Court to life without parole for First-Degree Intentional Homicide and Attempted Homicide — both with hate crime enhancers.
Scolman stabbed Timothy Nabors, Jr., who is black, to death when Nabors tried to break up a fight between Scolman and another black inmate at GBCI in October of 2022.
Scolman was already serving a 21-year prison sentence for killing three people in a drunk driving crash in 2006.
