OSHKOSH, Wis. — An attorney is now in charge of running the Oshkosh Arena.
A Winnebago County judge has granted Bayland Building’s request to place the facility into receivership.
Paul Swanson has been named the receiver for Fox Valley Pro Basketball, which has failed to make mortgage payments on the arena and has failed to pay any property taxes this year.
The arena website lists no upcoming events, and its main tenant, the Wisconsin Herd, was already making plans to play at a different facility in their upcoming season.
No court dates have been set yet in Bayland’s attempt to foreclose on the arena.
