Dave Edwards and So-How’s your week going
Wet, huh?

So, how are you getting to work today? Backstroke!
Sorry, I had to try to lighten up a conversation that’s getting pretty raw right now—our ceaseless spigot of water from Mother Nature that has drenched the Upper Midwest.
From dams overwhelmed in Minnesota to a rail bridge destroyed in South Dakota, to tornadoes and record rains here in the Badger state, we’ve had enough. I get it…it was a very dry to near drought-level kind of 2023, so it figures that 2024 has been a super soaker.
Honestly, it’s hard to point in any direction and not see a weather issue. Fires to the west and southwest, flooding in the plains and Midwest, and a record breaking heat dome that zoomed temps in New England into the 100’s! And, forecasters are saying that La Nina~ is done and we expect to see a very warm summer ahead.
Oh, and it’s only June.
