WRIGHTSTOWN, Wis. — Fire crews rescue three kayakers from the Fox River in Wrightstown.
The paddlers called in saying they were in distress due to strong currents in the river. They did not have any life jackets with them.
Crews found the three along the shoreline and were able to give them a ride back to the boat launch.
Officials say the Fox River is running very high at this time due to the amount of rain in the area the past two months.
