OSHKOSH, Wis–An Iowa company will oversee operations of the Oshkosh Arena while it is in receivership. A Winnebago County Judge approves the hiring of VenuWorks to schedule events at the arena and take over staffing of the facility.
There are currently no events scheduled for the arena, which was placed in receivership after the owner, Fox Valley Pro Basketball, stopped making mortgage payments and property taxes earlier this year. Bayland Buildings is looking to foreclose on the facility.
The Wisconsin Herd basketball team has announced six home game dates in Oshkosh.
