Taking a break from the regular scheduled programming for “Outside the Box”, I made my way to Miron Construction to celebrate their kickoff with United Way. As a result of this partnership, and with the help of several other non-profits, members of the community will benefit in a number of different ways.
Whether I was chatting with Scott Sawinski with Jake’s Network of Hope talking about diaper affordability (11:30), Dean Basten, the CFO with Miron (19:15), Kate McClory, the Project Coordinator with Be Well Fox Valley, talking about improving health for the members of our community from multiple perspectives (40:00), and finishing up with Dani Englebert with the YMCA of the Fox Cities discussing all the fabulous programs provided through their organization (51:12).
It’s a fantastic opportunity to listen to all the ways these organizations work hand in hand to help to improve the lives of the people of the Fox Cities Community, and I’m thrilled that I got the opportunity to take part in it.
