The statement accuses Genrich of refusing to engage in negotiations, unless the Packers agree to increased rent payments. The Packers have delayed $80-million in upgrades to the lower concourse at Lambeau.
Genrich has also demanded to meet only with Packers President Mark Murphy to discuss the lease extension. The team has also sent a request to the Green Bay/Brown County Professional Football Stadium District to intervene in the negotiation process.
