APPLETON, Wis. — A De Pere man is sentenced to life in prison for an Appleton murder.
Yia Lor was convicted in Outagamie County Court on charges of first-degree intentional homicide, attempted armed robbery and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Lor shot Paul Rhoades and left him lying in the middle of Briarcliff Road after a drug deal gone bad back in January of 2022.
He can apply for parole in 40 years.
