GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Common Council approves a contract to remove the Packers Heritage Trail Plaza from the corner of Cherry and Washington streets.
That site is being developed for an apartment complex.
Miron Construction is selected to remove the statues of Packer legends and plaques because it originally built the plaza.
The contract is for just over $109,000.
The statues would be put into storage until a new downtown site is selected.
