APPLETON, Wis. — Staff with the Appleton Public Library appear excited to move into their newly renovated library building in 2025.
But in order to do so, the temporary library at 3000 E. College Ave. will close on Nov. 25.
We heard from Owen Anderson, Public Services Supervisor and Emely Smith, Teen Services & Engagement Librarian during Focus Fox Valley with Hayley Tenpas on what to expect and ways to continue to connect with the library while the building is closed.
Owen shares that they expect it to take at least 6-8 weeks to pack up the temporary library on College Ave. and move again.
You can find information on their continuation of community events on the library’s calendar.
Listen to the full conversation with the Appleton Public Library starting around the 22 minute mark of the November 14th episode of Focus Fox Valley.
