SHAWANO COUNTY, Wis. — The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office handles a lot of emergencies, and now you can add difficult math problems to that list.
The department says a 10-year-old boy called 911 last week, telling the dispatcher he couldn’t figure out the problems involving decimals and that his family “wasn’t very good at math either.”
Deputy Chase Mason responded to the house and was able to solve the problems. He also reminded the boy that 911 should only be called in case of emergency.
