TOWN OF EGG HARBOR, Wis. — One person is killed — another is seriously injured — in a head-on crash in Door County.
The sheriff’s office says two vehicles collided along State Highway 42 in the town of Egg Harbor around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
A 64-year-old Sturgeon Bay man is believed to have crossed the centerline. He was pronounced dead a short time later at the Door County Medical Center.
The other driver, a 30-year-old Sturgeon Bay man, was airlifted to a Green Bay hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
