WAUPACA, Wis. — A Waupaca County judge sentences a drunk driver to 37.5 years in prison for a crash that killed four members of a Weyauwega family.
Scott Farmer of Neenah was convicted on four counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and one count of OWI 5th offense.
Farmer was traveling the wrong way along U.S. Highway 10 in December of last year when he struck an SUV carrying four members of the Gonzalez family. Their stepfather, Kurt Schilling, described being ushered away from the crash scene by police that night…

Farmer received nine years of initial confinement for each count of homicide by Intoxicated use of a vehicle. He was also sentenced to five years on extended supervision on each count. Those sentences will be served consecutively.
Farmer was also sentenced to 18 months in prison for the OWI offense.
