APPLETON, Wis. — It’s easy to make spirits bright when you visit a market that’s been part of our community for more than two decades.
Niemuth’s Southside Market is a family-owned and operated meat and fish market located on the south side of Appleton. Their owner, Richard Niemuth, has been a staple of WHBY programming for years. You might recall hearing his booming voice holler, “FRESH FISH,” which is quickly accompanied by the items flown in this week.
Hayley visited Niemuth’s this week to scan the shelves and peek into the display case and see what treasures can be found to make your holiday great.
It’s most impressive to look at all the different cuts of beef at Niemuth’s.
You can talk with Wes or Matt or Marc, about the perfect filet or cut for Christmas dinner.
They’re busy smoking and slicing meats, to make sure you’ve got the best to choose from.
You could spend hours looking for gift ideas in the store!
Their display of appetizers caught my eye. You can have everything from pot pies to pizzas, stuffed mushrooms and stuffed scallops Rockefeller.
Everything is made fresh! Can you imagine a more impressive lineup of flavors than that?
For those who might be more of the “thirsty” type, Niemuth’s offers a full line of beer, wine, and liquor and can you serve you in all your party and entertaining needs.
You also can’t forget the delicious meats and cheeses that can help make the perfect charcuterie board!
Visit Niemuth’s at 2121 South Oneida Street in Appleton.
Their hours are

- Wednesday – Thursday: 10am – 7pm
