TOWNSHIP OF LEBANON, Wis. — One person is dead and another is seriously injured following a crash in Waupaca County.
The sheriff’s office says a driver failed to negotiate a curve along Buelow Road in the township of Lebanon and struck a utility pole around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger was flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah where their condition is unknown.
Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
