TOWN OF STEPHENSON, Wis. — A Crivitz man is dead following a crash in Marinette County.
The sheriff’s office says Chase Cutty lost control of his vehicle while trying to pass another vehicle in a no passing zone on Highway X in the town of Stephenson around 7:30 p.m. Christmas Eve.
Cutty’s vehicle went into the ditch and struck several trees. He was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
