APPLETON, Wis–The man accused of robbing an Appleton bank held up the same branch 14-years ago. Martin Schiedermayer is accused of passing a note to the teller at the Wells Fargo Bank on South State Street Tuesday morning demanding cash. He was arrested about 20-minutes later.
Court records show Schiedermayer was convicted on one count of Robbery with the Threat of Force stemming from a May of 2011 hold-up at the same bank. He was sentenced to three-and-a-half-years in prison.
Criminal charges in connection with this week’s incident are still pending.
