When Is It OK To Call A Nazi Salute, A Nazi Salute

You know, I’m old enough to remember a time when most of us would’ve seen an image like this and all agreed that it was pretty awesome

Sorry, I’m just realizing I should’ve put a trigger warning for all the Elon supporters reading this right now. I know how Nazis getting called out for what they are tends to put you all in a bit of a cancel culture mood.

I highly doubt I’m the first person telling you this information, but CBS 58 Meteorologist, Sam Kuffel, was released from her job yesterday because she had the audacity to call an obvious Nazi salute an obvious Nazi salute.

And before you even bother trying to inundate me, or my network, with emails telling me it wasn’t a Nazi salute, do me a favor…

Go ahead and tell me I’m mistaken, I will never, ever acknowledge that garbage.

“But Ben” says the anonymous Nazi sympathizer “But Ben, what about all the liberals that look like they’re also doing Nazi salutes. Don’t you think they’re jumping the gun a little bit?”

Do me a favor look at this

Looks to me like you’re not jumping the gun enough, hypothetical guy that thinks Hitler made a couple good points.

“But Ben” says the Elon apologist “But Ben, he said afterward that he was sending his heart to the crowd. Surely the guy that claims to work in the nuance of politics can understand this.”

Ok 2 things.

First, as I’m typing this sentence, I’m using one hand on the keyboard to type and I’m using the other hand to flick my middle finger at the screen at all the cancel culture snowflakes that demanded the firing of a meteorologist who called out a Nazi salute. Don’t worry though, it means that you’re number one.

We’re cool, right? Or do you understand that maybe, despite what my words say, I might be saying something entirely different.

If you understand the point I’m making, CONGRATS! You’re both over the age of 8 years old AND can tell right from wrong.

Secondly, this isn’t the first time that Elon “I changed my profile picture to Pepe the Frog, a known anti-Semitic symbol” Musk even made a I’m giving my heart to the crowd gesture. Would you like to see what it looked like the first time?

The point of this article is not to highlight the garbage person nature the Musk exhibits on a daily basis. That can be perceived just by looking at him. This is about something much more sinister than that.

I’ve highlighted on my show dozens of times that both parties show a tendency for censorship, but presented in 2 entirely different ways. (Don’t worry liberals. Dems have escaped my ire for this week, but I’ve still got my eye on them.)

The immediate concession from CBS 58 surrounding the demand for Ms. Kuffel’s firing is a VERY bleak start to the second Trump term.

Bold take incoming: Members of the media should be able to condemn an obvious Nazi salute without worrying about losing their job.

I know, it’s out there, but I mean, the shows called “Outside the Box.”

CBS’s capitulation is a reminder of how quickly things can change, but more importantly, how important it is for people in my position to still stand up for what they know is right.

And this brings me to the right wing hack brigade that got this whole ball rolling– Newstalk 1130 WISN. These are the cancel culture snowflakes that got offended when Nazi salutes were called out for the vile symbols of hate that they are.

They just want to make sure that the internet is a safe space for Nazis I suppose. I’m old enough to remember when they pushed back against the WOKE, CANCEL CULTURE, LEFTIST mob, when they had to fight the good fight making sure Jay Weber could keep his job so he could keep up his crusade referring to autistic minors as “Blubbering bitch boys.” (His words, not mine. Just remember I’m on this side of the fence so if any of you want to slide on over, now would be a pretty good time.)

Keep up the good work, Jay, your country thanks you.

And then of course, there’s the man who’s tweet got the ball rolling, Dan O’Donnell.

Before I let this hypocrite have it, I would like to shout him out. I’ve seen a lot of turns of phrase from my show on his Twitter feed recently, and I have to say… I didn’t know you were a fan. I’m flattered honestly.

Seems to me like Dancel culture and the anti-autistic crusader have found it easier to just spew bile and generate clicks.

To be honest, it does seem much less time-consuming than the way I do it.

All of this being said, it’s high time that the adults in the room stand up and let this administration, and any Nazi salute-defending snowflakes know that we will not be intimidated. We will not stop calling out the obvious gestures. We will be here doing the RIGHT thing, and CBS 58, the doors always open to change course and right a wrong.
