METOMEN, WI — No one is hurt following a house fire in Fond du Lac County.
Crews were called to a home along State Highway 44 in the town of Metomen shortly after 3:00 Thursday afternoon to find one side engulfed in flames. No one was inside at the time. The house is believed to be a total loss.
Investigators say flames from a controlled burn in a ditch spread to the lawn of the property and eventually reached the house.
