GREENVILLE, Wis. — A school in Greenville goes on a brief lockdown after a hit-and-run suspect heads in the direction of the school.
At 10:25 a.m. Tuesday, the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office learned of the hit-and-run collision on Highway 76 near Highway 15. One of the vehicles continued driving north on Highway 76 before turning onto County Highway JJ. That vehicle then stopped near North Greenville Elementary School and the driver fled toward a wooded are behind the school.
The suspect was located by the use of a drone and a K-9 unit and taken into custody. He’s identified as 27-year-old Joshua Howard of Hortonville.
Criminal charges are pending.
