GRAND CHUTE, Wis. — Grand Chute’s top cop is calling it a career.
Chief Greg Peterson has spent 44 years in law enforcement including 15 years as Grand Chute’s police chief.
Peterson began his career as a patrol officer with the Appleton Police Department. During his tenure in Grand Chute, the department has added K-9 teams, created a drone first responder program and invested heavily in personnel training and career development.
Peterson will continue serving as police chief until the town of Grand Chute selects a new chief. That’s expected to be completed in late summer or early fall.
