OSHKOSH, Wis–A rare container of Chief Oshkosh Beer sells for six-figures in an on-line auction. The “crowntainer” of the Oshkosh-produced beer sold for more than $111,000 this month.
What made the metal, bottle-cap topped container rare is that it is one of the few still in existence that is white. It came from the collection of noted beer can collector Bob McCoy.
