Dave Edwards and its Masters week!
The tradition is back…and none too soon! Allow me to explain.
First, The Masters is almost always a signal that golf in the northern U.S. is underway. Plus, it gives me a really good reason to put down my rake! More explanation necessary…
Last week, I grabbed my rake in anticipation of cleaning up my yard. As I began, I said to myself that I will continue raking on a semi-daily basis, unless the Masters begins OR it is opening day at my course, Fox Valley Golf Club! Well, I’m not quite done with my raking….and, it’s day one at the Masters and Friday is opening day at The Fox! Goodbye rake!
Granted, April is usually as finicky as a tariff policy, so I may grab the rake to finish the job, or …wait, is that Scheffler teeing off?
It is a tradition unlike any other….
