Federal agents are heading to Milwaukee to deal with violent crime, and Wisconsin’s Democratic U.S. Senator supports the move.
Sen. Tammy Baldwin of Madison says it won’t be like what happened in Portland or Washington D.C., where they were deployed for protests. She says the agents won’t be patrolling the streets, and many will be on computers helping investigate crimes.
She tells Fresh Take there’s a need for the investigators, because of the increase in crime in the city.
