Appleton’s COVID vaccination clinic at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center in downtown will close at the end of next month.
Health officer Kurt Eggebrecht says this is the last week to get the Moderna shot there.
Eggebrecht believes they’ve met the demand for those who want a shot. He doesn’t feel keeping a large clinic open is the best use of resources.
Walk-ins will be accepted at the downtown location but reservations are encouraged. To find a vaccine site after May 27th Eggebrech suggests using a new state website that lists locations.
