Another member of the Fond du Lac School Board resigns. Nick Teifke tenders his resignation–stating that the board has made harmful decisions–referring to an optional masking policy for the start of the school year. Teifke also admits to likely violating the state’s open meetings laws by sending emails to all board members and administrators demanding that they reconsider the masking policy. Teifke’s resignation comes a week after board member Mark Strand quit–saying his work schedule would no longer give him the time needed to serve. The board will appoint two new members to serve out those terms.
