A Green Bay lawmaker is considering a run for governor. Representative John Macco has filed paperwork with the state Elections Commission to form a campaign committee. That would allow him to start raising money for the race. In a statement, Macco says he will “continue to assess the situation in the next few weeks and make a final decision”. Former Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch has also filed papers to form a campaign committee for governor–but has not yet made a formal announcement of candidacy.
