APPLETON, Wis–The Appleton Area School District addresses safety and security with a new year almost here. Superintendent Greg Hartjes tells Action 2 News that the district takes multiple steps to prevent a tragedy.
The district used a million-dollar grant from the D-O-J a few years ago to enhance security at its buildings.
