OSHKOSH, Wis. — A man who killed another man at a Neenah bar has his request for an appeal dismissed.
Casey Cameron had sought to withdraw his no contest pleas to Felony Murder and First-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety based on the state dismissing the original criminal complaint and filing a new one charging him with four new counts.
A court found that he had not met the burden of proof and dismissed his motion for post-conviction relief.
Cameron shot Kevin “Hollywood” Hein to death during a hold up at Short Branch Saloon in October of 2019. He is serving a 40-year prison sentence.
