OSHKOSH, Wis. — Oshkosh Common Council Deputy Mayor Matt Mugerauer is promoted to mayor by voters.
Mugerauer defeated fellow council member Aaron Wojciechowski with 53 percent of the vote.

Wojciechowski served on the Oshkosh Common Council since 2021.
Mugerauer succeeds Lori Palmeri, who was elected to the state Assembly last November. He’ll be working with three new council members as mayor.
