GRAND CHUTE, WI — The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office will lead the investigation into an officer involved shooting in Grand Chute Tuesday afternoon. Grand Chute officers were attempting to serve an arrest warrant at a multi-family residence at 3025 West Lawrence Street around 3:12 PM. Grand Chute Police Officer Dylan Davis says while serving the warrant the situation changed quickly for officers.
“While attempting to serve that arrest warrant, officers encountered an unknown situation in which officers discharging their firearms,” Davis said. “A subject was injured in the incident and is being treated at a local hospital for what we believe, at this time, are non-life threatening injuries. No officers were injured in this incident.”
The identities of the shooting victim and the officers have not been released. Those officers are now on administration leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
