NEENAH, Wis. — A man is dead after being shot by police in Neenah.
According to investigators, officers with the Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group were trying to arrest a 37-year-old man with a warrant at the Mobil along S. Commercial Street shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday.
The man allegedly had a weapon when an officer shot him. He was taken to ThedaCare Neenah, where he was pronounced dead.
No officers were hurt in the incident.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation.
